Hello,

My name is Lyndsey Gough. I’m 24 years old and a sports reporter in Louisville, Kentucky.

I grew up on a farm in a small town in western Kentucky. There hunting and Kentucky basketball were the norm. I learned to be a firm believer in faith, family and eventually- football. I played sports from the time I could walk until I graduated high school- that included competitive cheerleading. During that time thanks to a cheer coach of mine, I fell in love with the Dallas Cowboys- and their cheerleaders. That led me to follow the founder of Live Love Gameday, Sydney Durso on social media and following her through the journey as she retired from cheerleading and began her amazing brand.

I attended the University of Kentucky and for four years, covered the Kentucky Wildcats in every sport, focusing on football and men’s basketball.

Since graduating, I began my career in broadcast news. I now work as a sports reporter, covering all sports at all levels. I’ve gotten to report on everything from the high school state championship, to the NCAA Tournament, bowl games, a Heisman Trophy winner, NCAA baseball Super Regionals, the Kentucky Derby and just about everything in between.

In my sixth year covering sports, after a lifetime of playing and loving watching sports, I truly feel the field (or court) is my home away from home- just like Live Love Gameday’s signature shirt says. I began this career because I have a passion for the game(s), like everyone at Live Love Gameday does.

When I’m not working and covering sports, you can still find me watching or at a Kentucky football game with my boyfriend who is a former college football player and a high school football and track coach. Even when it isn’t work, I’m at the field by choice.

I’m not a fashion blogger or “influencer” and I can’t say I have experience in fashion outside of my own retail therapy, but I think clothes are a way of expressing yourself and an extension of yourself, which is why I love sporting Live Love Gameday Gear. I love that they cater to the female sports fan in a cute and comfy way. Everything doesn’t have to be pink or rhinestone (though I’m not opposed to either). I seriously love that it is a brand BY women in sports, FOR women in sports.

In a world where women are fighting for equality in sports daily (on and off the field), I love supporting a female-owned company, catering to the female sports fan in a trendy, comfortable way.

Recently, I picked up this “Married to the Game” tank, which I LOVE. It’s super soft and flowy- perfect for the humid high school football game I chose to wear it to. I wore it with some ripped jeans and white Converses and really liked the way it paired. It’s long enough I can wear it with jeans OR leggings and I love the cut still leaves it looking stylish, but still so comfortable! I can’t wait to pick up more gear to wear on the sidelines- for work AND play.

I also got the Live Love Gameday “Home Is Where The Field Is” wax melts and they smell absolutely AMAZING. Defiantly my new fall go-to sent and perfect if you want to branch out from pumpkin spice now and then.

I can’t wait to get even more LLG gear for all my sports adventures!
